„Южен поток“ може да бъде възроден в съвсем близко бъдеще», това заяви постоянният представител на Русия в ЕС Владимир Чижов в интервю за телевизия „Русия 24“. Политикът увери също, че „Северен поток-2“ ще бъде построен.
“Ясно е, че в дългосрочно бъдеще потребността на ЕС от газ ще нараства. Затова „Северен поток-2“ ще го има», допълни той. «А дали ще има «Южен поток» — ще видим, може проектът да бъде възроден, при това в съвсем близко бъдеще», уточни Чижов.
Изявлението на Чижов е поредния нов обрат в международната сага „Южен поток“, след като на 20 януари „Газпром“ обяви официално, че договорът за проекта за газопровод е прекратен.
